Hi, I'm Ben
I’m a music and sound technician at the University of Gloucestershire. I focus mainly on working as a multi-disciplinary Audio Engineer - with experience in studio and location recordings, found-sound and field recordings as well as mixing and mastering. However, I also enjoy composing music for films and video games.
My other interests include gaming, watching fantasy films and exploring psychoacoustics - mainly the application they have in a musical context. I also enjoy recording and processing audio with ambisonic and binaural formats as a method of bringing the most out of a given space.

I can play a variety of instruments, including: Bass Guitar, Irish Whistles, Irish Bouzouki and Piano. I am currently learning DADGAD Guitar to accompany my bouzouki and whistles.
